[EN] The subject of this work is the spatial analysis of the population structure by sex, age and activity at the Madrid city, in the second middle of the 18th century. The conclusion more outstanding is the existence of an urban space socioeconomic segregation. This social segregation appears in the opposition between an aged center and a young periphery; and economic segregation characterised for the functional specialisation of different zones at the city according to the activity of the residents.
