Abstract

El libro presenta dos textos inéditos en castellano y claves de la producción científica de Isaac Newton. Contiene una extensa introducción que contextualiza el interés de Newton por la óptica y la teoría de la luz. Los dos textos mencionados fueron "La nueva teoría de la luz y los colores" y "El nuevo telescopio catadióptrico" fueron publicados en las Philosophical Transactions, nº 80 (19 de febrero 1671/72, pp. 3075-87) y, el segundo, en el nº 81 (25 de marzo de 1672, pp. 4002-10).

Libro no venal diseñado por Montse Lago.
