Composite materials based on zeine-clay biohybrids, the method for production thereof and uses of these materials

Abstract

[EN] The present invention describes a composite material that comprises a biohybrid of zeine and clay with a polymer ofpotentially diverse nature, and also a method for producing said material. The characteristic composition ofthis type ofmaterial makes it suitable for various uses, such as material for packaging and packing foods, as substrate for drugs, substrate for herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other pesticides, as absorbent or sequestrant for microtoxins, as substrate for cell growth or mechanical, acoustic or thennal insulator.ie
