Con esta contribución no vamos a entrar en el estudio codicológico de los manuscritos andalusíes, labor que excede con mucho el título de la ponencia. En referencia a los manuscritos, sólo realizaremos un escueto acercamiento a lo que significa la escritura magrebí en sus dos variantes, mientras que para la epigrafía se hará una evolución de lo que ha representado el cúfico monumental andalusí aplicado al registro considerado arqueológico.
