[EN] The configuration of the cosmos from ClaudiO Ptolomeo with concrete value of sizes, disposition and distances of planets, was found in the book that the Arabic astronomers called Kitab al-mansarat or Kitab al-iqtisas that really was the book Las hipótesis de los planetas from Ptolomeo. After having referred the «incidents» of its searching in several Arabic manuscripts, it is exposed specific questions of the book and, afterwards, it is considered the several situations of acceptance or refusing that the postulates from Ptolomeo received among the Arabic astronomers. The Arabic astronomers did not abandon the traditional constitution of the astronomic system inherited from Greeks, Hindues and Persians, in spite of the technic possibilities that they had.
[ES] La configuración del cosmos de Claudia Ptolomeo, con valores concretos de tamaños, disposición y distancias de los planetas, fue encontrada en la obra que los astrónomos árabes denominaron Kitob al-mansarat o Kitab al-iqtisas, que ero realmente la obro Lu hipótesis de los planetas de Ptolomeo. Tras referir las «peripecias» de su búsqueda en diversos manuscritos árabes se exponen cuestiones específicas de la obra y, a continuación, se consideran las diferentes posturas de aceptación o rechazo que recibieron los postulados ptolemaicos por parte de los astrónomos árabes. A pesar de las posibilidades técnicas que tenían los astrónomos árabes no abandonaron el edificio tradicional del sistema astronómico heredado de griegos, hindúes y persas.
