Abstract

[EN] The aim of this paper is to analyze the participation of women in Logic. Departing from the significance of the irruption of feminism into diverse areas of knowledge, in particular, Philosophy of Science and History of the Philosophy and Science, the situation with respect to Logic is equally assessed. Although the non-existence of women logicians is not clear, it is evident that those who have really existed have been concealed. Having role models to look up to is important for developing an activity. For that reason, in this work the importance of two pioneers is being acknowledged: Rozsa Peter, in the theory of recursive functions, and Rose Rand, in deontic logic. Receiving these and other models can contribute to palliate the appalling situation in which the area of Logic finds itself currently, being one of the fields where the average number of women is of the lowest in our country
