Abstract

Del 18 al 23 de septiembre de 1978, en el Laboratorio de Canarias del Instituto Español de Oceanografía, se han celebrado las reuniones del Grupo de Trabajo para la regulación de los "stocks" de cefalópodos en el área de la CECAF. Han participado en las sesiones, como presidente el Dr. J. Bravo Laguna, del I.E.O., de Tenerife, y los Sres. don J. A. Pereiro, de Madrid (I.E.O.), D. A. Guerra, de Vigo (I.I.P.), Mr. H. Hatanaka, del Japón (F.S.F.R.), Mr. R. Bíaz, de Marruecos (I.P.M.), Mr. J. P. Troadec, relator, de FAO (Roma), y Mr. M. Ansa - Emiin, del Proyecto CECAF, de Dakar (Senegal). Las comunicaciones presentadas fueron: H. Hatanaka dos: "Distribución geográfica de dos especies de sepa oficicinales en el Noroeste de la Costa de Africa" y la época de puesta de la misma especie en aquellos lugares, y A. Guerra cinco ponencias, sobre "Selectividad del octopus vulgaris del Atlántico centro - oriental", "distribución" de la misma especie en el área, "estructura de la población" de la misma y "edad y crecimiento" también de la misma especie. Se presentaron aún otras dos ponencias, una de H. Hatanaka sobre la puesta del pulpo y otra de J. A. Pereiro también sobre biología del "octopus vulgaris".
