Abstract

[EN]The Iberian cult spaces in the Upper Guadalquivir begin started to play rol at the beginnings of the IV ct. B.C. Those spaces were the way of legitimation in the construction of the different political and territorial models. Examples of those models were the territory of the valley of the river Jandulilla (with the sanctuary of El Pajarillo) and the teritory of Cástulo. This last one incluyed the sanctuaries of Collado de los Jardines and Altos del Sotillo, being both the ideological borders of the territory. The romanization of the territories suppose the birth of an ideological systems following a double process: 1) Having a continuator character, as is shown in the sanctuaries located in the countryside of Córdoba and Jaén. 2) Breaking with the earlier religious models, like it has been documented in the sanctuaries of the territory of Cástulo.
