Abstract

Catch, data (in weight) of albacore by Spanish regions are shown (table 1), and total catch for Galicia by landing port (table 2). Table 3 shows catch data in weight and number of specimens, mean weight, days fishing and CPUE (by days fishing), based on landings in La Coruña (port of great importance for trolling boat landings). For these lamlings, mapa with lº x lº statistical rectangles have been made, pointing out catches in number of specimens, days fishing and CPUE by fortnight and gear (fig. l-42). Fortnightly histograma related to fishing, -not landings-, are shown, and a weighted length histogram from landings at this same port (fig. 43-46). Fig. 47-55 show catches, days fishing and CPUE by lº x lº statistical rectangle by gear, landed in Santoña and Santander ports. Fig. 56-57 show length histograma by gear from landings in this province.
