I. Peces demersales.

Abstract

A seaso nal sampling o] the demersal fish community in three hab itats [beach, ra]t and middle) of the Ria de Muros y Noya, gave a total of 49 dif- [erent species, dominated in number by the [amilies Gobiid ae (58%) and Callionyrnidae (25 %). There were no imp ortant seasonal changes in b iomass, diversity nor similarity, but was an important reduction in the number of individuols during summer, because of the internal rnigration of some goby sp ecies (Gobius niger and Pornatoschistus minutus). The community shows values of mean annual biomass (1.45 Kg/10 minutes trawl) and diversity [Hn = 1.91) lower than those from the Ria de Arosa and the reasons are discussed in this paper.
