Abstract

Incorporation of nitrogen/carbon stable isotopes and total lipid fatty acids was analysed in Atlantic Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) larvae fed with rotifers enriched with Algamac® and Origreen®, respectively. Larvae-rotifer enrichment factors for nitrogen (15N/14N, δ15N) and carbon (13C/12C, δ13C) showed significant different values according to diet composition. Moreover, significant differences were also observed in larvae total lipid fatty acid profiles with the exceptions of 18:1n-9 and DHA. No growth significant differences were found.
