Injectable bioactive acrylic formulations for use in minimally invasive surgery.

Abstract

[EN]The invention relates to the preparation of acrylic formulations containing: a bioactive component; bioactive glass or silica nanoparticles having different sizes and morphologies, such as aerosil; and an anti-inflammatory drug comprising phosphate groups, which can be injected and cured in situ. Said type of formulations are intended for percutaneous vertebroplasties, bone defects produced following the recession of tumours or hypertrophies and biomechanical stabilisation in the field of osteoporosis with loss of bone mass.
