[EN] This article undertakes an analysis of different models and approaches concerned with scientific change. After the publication of, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, by Thomas S. Kuhn, this area of research has undergone great development. Kuhnian concepts are of a socio-cognitive values from which new main schools of thought have developed subsequently: (a) the New Philosophy of Science, which articulates a cognitive or epistemic answer to the problems posed by Kuhn's works; and (b) the New Sociology of Scientific Knowledge, which elaborates a sociological vision of the very same set of questions. This article critically refers to the development of these two traditions and the conclusion rnakes use of Longino's distinction between constitutive and contextual values. This distinction is considered as a highly valuable and key element nor future research work related to the field
