Control de la Podredumbre Blanca del ajo en función del aislado de Sclerotium cepivorum y de la dosis de tebuconazol

Abstract

Se ha buscado un control efectivo de la Podredumbre Blanca del ajo causada por el hongo Sclerotium cepivorum mediante el tratamiento de dientes con distintas dosis de tebuconazol. Al evaluar in vitro la sensibilidad al fungicida de una colección de aislados españoles del hongo se mostraron diferencias entre ellos. Lo que permitió seleccionar cuatro, representativos de los distintos grados de sensibilidad. Tras la infestación artificial de microparcelas con dichos aislados, se observaron disminuciones significativas del nivel de la enfermedad correlativos con aumentos de rendimientos, cuando las dosis del fungicida fueron superiores a 200 ppm. También se observó un retraso del inicio de la epidemia para dosis de tebuconazol superiores a 400 ppm.
