Biopolímeros: oportunidades y desafíos para la impresión 3D

Abstract

Usage of biological polymers in 3D printing, as well as their implementation in different sectors such like aerospace, textile, food industry or biomedicine is a field of keen interest, not only under the point of view of the academic research, but from an environmental and social concern. In this article it will be gone over additive manufacturing of biopolymers, highlighting a variety of materials, namely, cellulose, lignin, alginate, chitosan, starch, polylactic acid, and polycaprolactone.
