[EN] Trilobites, graptolites, brachiopods and mollusks collected in four localities of the unity informally named as «La Bastida Shales» are studied, in ages ranging between Lower Llanvirn and Lower Llandeilo. The biostratigraphical study allows correlate this unity with other similar Formations of the Central-Iberian Zone. New findings of graptolites in the Silurian succession of the Sequeros syncline indicate, for the first time, a Lower Llandovery age (triangulatus to magnus Zones) for the lower portion ot the unity discordant over the Ordovician shales.
