Abstract

Extractos fenólicos de piel de almendra conteniendo procianidinas, propelargonidinas y prodelfinidinas, y su procedimiento de obtención. Esta invención se refiere a extractos fenólicos conteniendo procianidinas, propelargonidinas y prodelfinidinas obtenidos a partir de la piel de la almendra [Prunus dulcis (Mill.) D.A. Webb, Prunus amygdalus (L.) Batsch., Amygdalus dulcis (Mill.), Amygdalus communis (L.) o Prunus communis (L.)]. En particular, se quieren conseguir extractos ricos en proantocianidinas con enlaces de tipo A. El procedimiento de obtención que también se protege consiste en: a) una maceración del material vegetal con disolventes orgánicos a 25-100ºC, b) una purificación por extracción líquido-líquido y/o cromatografía de adsorción o intercambio iónico, y c) opcionalmente, un secado final. También se protegen las posibles actividades/propiedades de estos extractos tales como la actividad antioxidante y otras, que determinan su uso como ingrediente alimentario o dietético, y en la industria cosmética y farmacéutica.
