Abstract

Hilos ferromagnéticos con memoria de forma, su procedimiento de obtención y sus aplicaciones. La presente invención se refiere a la fabricación de hilos ferromagnéticos con memoria de forma, con composiciones caracterizadas por presentar la transformación martensítica y el efecto magnetostrictivo asociado con la reorientación de variantes bajo campo magnético. Estos hilos ferromagnéticos pueden presentar una estructura cristalográfica de tipo Heusler, con composición estequiométrica X2YZ o próximas a ésta, como por ejemplo, Ni2.10Mn0.98 Ga0.92. Estos hilos ferromagnéticos con efecto de memoria de forma se pueden usar en dispositivos que bajo la aplicación de campo magnético son capaces de producir un efecto mecánico como actuadores mecánicos.
