Abstract

La península de Baja California tuvo una gran importancia durante el siglo de las Luces para el virreinato de Nueva España. Varias expediciones científicas la visitaron e informaron sobre sus producciones. Hemos querido realizar en este trabajo un catálogo de estas obras, las cuales forman parte del tipo de compilaciones descriptivas e ilustrativas, adjuntándolas a las expediciones mineras y astronómicas que llegaron a la península tras la expulsión de los jesuitas el año de 1767.
