Abstract

Uno de los problemas que mayor interés despierta actualmente entre los geofísicos de todo el mundo es lel estudio de las deformaciones elásticas períodicas, denominadas "mareas terrestres", que por efecto de las acciones gravitatorias de la Luna y el Sol, sufre nuestro planeta. Es de señalar que éste es prácticamente el único fenómeno de deformación de la Tierra para el que podemos calcular "a priori" las fuerzas de acción.
