Se perfilan las atribuciones a la mano del erudito Demetrio Triclinio, famoso editor de la tragedia antigua, y su familiar, Nicolás Triclines. Se define un estilo de escritura que trasciende la actividad del círculo tricliniano a la de toda la ciudad, activa y en fuerte contacto con Constantinopla en estos decenios.
Se propone una caracterización de la escritura utilizada por algunos escribas y estudiosos de textos antiguos en la Salónica de los ss. XIII y XIV, determinando la producción y la cronología de algunos de estos copistas.
