[ES]El conocimiento de la realidad física por medio de tecnologías geoespaciales y la generaciónde de Bases de Datos Geográficas de Ocupación del suelo, permite efectuar un mejor estudio del territorio para la planificación del mismo y para la gestión del Medioambiente. En este trabajo se describe el desarrollo del proyecto MedGeobase en Marruecos elaborado por el grupo de interés económico EUROMED en colaboración con el ONEM de Rabat, y dirigido por el IGN de España, en el marco de la UE y la cooperación y asitencia técnica internacional entre los países ribereños del Mediterráneo. [EN] The knowledge of phisical reality by means of geospatial technology methods and Land Cover Data Bases generation, enables us to make better territorial studies for planning and environmental management. In this paper we describe the process of MedGeobase/Marocco project, carried out by EUROMED.GEIE in collaboration with ONEM-Rabat, and directed by IGN Spain, promoted by EU to increase the international cooperation and technical assistance between Mediterranean countries.
