Micro- and nano-structured composit materials based on laminar double hydroxides of hydrotalcite type and silicates of the clay family

Abstract

[EN] The present invention relates to micro- or nano-structured composite materials based on laminar double hydroxides of hydrotalcite type and silicates of the clay family. The invention furthermore relates to the procedure for preparation of these materials together with the use thereof in diverse applications, such as adsorbent, both of gases and of contaminants in aqueous medium, absorbent, acid neutraliser, ion exchanger, in medical and biological applications, such as supports for materials of biological origin such as enzymes, as fillers in polymers, and as precursors of metal oxides and of catalysts.
