Abstract

Un método para aumentar el contenido de lisina en una planta, una parte de planta o un producto de planta derivado de la misma que comprende introducir y expresar un polinucleótido que es al menos 80 %, al menos 90 %, al menos 95 % idéntico a una secuencia que comprende dos pares de secuencias (a1-a2) y (b2-b1) separados por una secuencia espaciadora en la que: a. las secuencias a1, a2, b1 y b2 son secuencias diferentes y se seleccionan de SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, SEQ ID NO: 3, o SEQ ID NO: 4, en donde b. si a1 es SEQ ID NO: 1 o SEQ ID NO: 4, b1 es SEQ ID NO: 4 o SEQ ID NO: 1, y a2 es SEQ ID NO: 2 o SEQ ID NO: 3, y c. si a1 es SEQ ID NO: 2 o SEQ ID NO: 3, b1 es SEQ ID NO: 3 o SEQ ID NO: 2, y a2 es SEQ ID NO: 1 o SEQ ID NO: 4, en donde dicha planta pertenece al género Triticum; y en donde dicho contenido de lisina es mayor en comparación con una planta de control, parte de planta de la misma o producto de planta de control, en donde la planta de control no expresa el polinucleótido; y en donde dicho aumento en el contenido de lisina es 20 a 70 %; y en donde el polinucleótido es introducido por transformación.
