Abstract

[EN] The Real Jardín Botánico’s Archives preserves three collections from the 18th and 19th centuries which also come from different origins, framed in the “Chinese export art”, which constitutes the largest set in Spain in terms of illustrations of plants. Some designs are shared among them and with others held at the British Library and the Volkenkunde Museum in Leiden. We also point out the possible relationship of some of these drawings with the artist Giuseppe Castiglioni and it is remarkable the uniqueness of one of the collections, with Chinese titles translated into Spanish at its time.
