[EN] Spaniards continue to support the policies of health, education, unemployment protection and pensions, which appears to have strengthened during the crisis. Attitudes have been less stable in relation to other areas of governmental spending and in what concerns taxation. Although attitudes to the Welfare State of Spaniards as a whole appear to have converged with those of the Europeans in recente years, at the regional level we can find substantial variation in people' preferences regarding social policy.
