This work describes the thermometry carried out in soundings of down to 13 meters into the thermal anomalies of the Islote de Hilario, Parque Nacional de Timanfaya, Canary Islands. These soundings measured the absolute temperatures, their variation with depth and the response to the transition provoked by sudden cooling. The maximum temperature recorded in the area is 606°C at a depth of 13 meters. It was also possible to determine the thermal conductivity of the system. The thermal data are interpreted in accordance with mathematical models to which the experimental data is adjusted. The models used are those of conduction and convection with which limit superficial temperatures of 250°C have been obtained.
