Coloured zirconia material, procedure for obtainment and applications thereof

Abstract

[ES] Procedimiento de obtención de circona coloreada, estabilizada con itria, utilizando un compuesto de hierro como único precursor colorante. Además, la invención se refiere al material de circona coloreada obtenible mediante dicho procedimiento y a su uso para fabricar componentes dentales al presentar un color similar al del diente natural, como catalizadores, componentes de pilas de combustible ó cerámica técnica estructural.

[EN] Procedure for obtainment of coloured zirconia, stabilised with yttria, utilising an iron compound as the sole colourant precursor. Furthermore the invention relates to the coloured zirconia material obtainable through said procedure, and use thereof to manufacture dental components, it having a colour similar to that of natural teeth, as catalysts, fue1 cell components or structural technical ceramics.
