Los efectos orientados del terremoto de Lisboa (1755) en el patrimonio de Sevilla (Valle del Guadalquivir, España)

Abstract

El terremoto de Lisboa de 1755 fue el más destructivo de la historia de Europa. Este terremoto afectó a la Península Ibérica en su totalidad. La intensidad máxima de este terremoto fue X (EMS-1998) y afectó seriamente al patrimonio cultural español. Esos efectos han perdurado en muchos edificios, como ocurre en el patrimonio de la ciudad de Sevilla, que fue una de las más dañadas en España. Los daños en esta ciudad han sido clasificados utilizando el método de Efectos Arqueológicos de Terremotos (EAEs), con objeto de estudiar estas estructuras de deformación y su orientación con respecto a la llegada de las ondas sísmicas.
