Manipulation of the function of AtDBP1 in order to generate potyvirus resistance

Abstract

La invención relaciona al uso de una mutación para la generación de plantas mutantes virus-resistentes y, específicamente, al uso de la mutación 8.1 del gen AtDBP1 de la orden del thalianain del Arabidopsis de modificar el fenotipo de la planta como regulador de la resistencia del potyvirus de la planta, así como a las plantas genético modificadas resultantes que tienen resistencia más grande de la infección del potyvirus que plantas sin modificar.

The invention relates to the use of a mutation for the generation of virus-resistant mutant plants and, specifically, to the use of mutation 8.1 of the AtDBP1 gene of Arabidopsis thalianain order to modify the phenotype of the plant as a regulator of plant potyvirus resistance, as well as to the resulting genetically modified plants having greater potyvirus infection resistance than unmodified plants.
