El Instituto de Medicina Social, primeros intentos de institucionalizar la eugenesia

Abstract

Nos proponemos en este trabajo hacer sólo una descripción de la historia, integrantes y contenido ideológico, de una institución que surgió en Madrid, por iniciativa particular, el 1 de enero de 1919. La información encontrada hasta allora es escasa, y consiste fundamentalmente en noticias e informaciones aparecidas en publicaciones realizadas por el propio Instituto: E1 litstituto de Medicina Social. Fundantentos, Bases y Acta de Constitución (21, proyecto presentado en la Junta Constituyente por el doctor Aguado Marinoni, promotor del Instituto, y la Cartilla Popular de Medicina Social, publicación número 1 del Instituto, redactada por Aguado Marinoni y el pedagogo y eugenista Luis Huerta.
