Pisa 2006. Competencia científica para el mundo del mañana

Abstract

Se analiza el marco teórico del Estudio Pisa 2006 relativo a la definición de la Competencia Científica. Se profundiza en las características de las tres capacidades establecidas en el proyecto: 1) Capacidad para identificar cuestiones investigables y los procesos necesarios para su estudio, 2) Capacidad de aplicar los conocimientos de y sobre la ciencia para explicar y comprender los fenómenos naturales, y 3) Capacidad para usar y comunicar los resultados y conclusiones en la búsqueda de soluciones a problemas cotidianos. Por último se comparan los resultados obtenidos por España con los de otros países de la OCDE y se reflexiona sobre las implicaciones educativas de los mismos.

Trabajo presentado a la XXXII Bienal de la Real Sociedad Española de Física y 19º Encuentro Ibérico de Enseñanza de la Física, celebrados en Ciudad Real del 7 al 11 de septiembre de 2009.
