Abstract

El acuífero kárstico de la Sierra de las Nieves, dentro del Parque Natural y Reserva de la Biosfera del mismo nombre, es un singular paraje de gran valor paisajístico, ecológico y geológico (hidrogeológico y geomorfológico) tanto en superficie (exokarst) como subterráneo (endokarst). El acuífero funciona en régimen natural y está considerado como un laboratorio natural del karst por el espectacular desarrollo que han adquirido las principales características kársticas tanto en superficie (depresiones y manantiales) como subterráneo (gran desarrollo de una red de conductos). El ciclo hidrológico está mantenido por la rela tivamente alta precipitación y moderadas temperaturas debido a su particular localización geográfica, las cuales son susceptibles de variar de acuerdo al cambio climático de origen antrópico por el incremento del CO2 atmosférico. En este trabajo se analizan y discuten los resultados de las proyecciones de la temperatura y precipitación que cabe esperar para este área de acuerdo a diferentes modelos regionales climáticos. Las proyecciones se han corregido con varias técnicas tanto para la metodología de biascorrection como para la metodología de delta change
