Propuesta de monitorización instrumental para la geoconservación del LIG “Icnitas de reptiles triásicos” en el Geoparque de la Comarca de Molina-Alto Tajo (Guadalajara)

Abstract

Se presenta una propuesta de monitorización instrumental instalada en el LIG que forman los afloramientos de areniscas triásicas con icnitas de reptiles, situados en el Geoparque UNESCO de la Comarca de Molina-Alto Tajo (Señorío de Molina, Guadalajara). El sistema consta de: un pluviómetro de cazoletas basculantes con registro continuo en almacenador de datos digital; un termómetro con dos sensores (uno de temperatura del aire y otro de la temperatura de la superficie de la roca en diaclasa), que recogen datos con periodicidad quinceminutal; y un fisurómetro analógico de precisión con retícula milimetrada. La finalidad de este sistema y los datos que registra es aportar valores para la caracterización (frecuencia y magnitud) de los procesos activos que pueden degradar los valores patrimoniales del LIG; como la meteorización física-química de la roca soporte, por gelifracción o crioclastia efectiva; esto es, ciclos de hielo-deshielo que se producen cuando las diaclasas y poros de la roca se encuentran rellenos de agua, y que pueden agrandar las discontinuidades que limitan los bloques de las icnitas, produciendo su desprendimiento y rotura. Con ello se podrán establecer geoindicadores para el seguimiento del estado de conservación del LIG y su evolución temporal, que ayuden a la gestión por parte de las administraciones responsables.
