[EN] Aluvionar prospecting for tin was carried out in two areas of the Salamanca province (West-Central Spain). They were chosen because both present cassiterite anomalous contents and differenciated geological features for this type of ore deposits (mineralized Hercinian pegmoaplites at Bermellar and Tertiary aluvions at Puebla de Azaba). Samples were studied geochemicaly and mineralogicaly, with the purpose of to compare the efectivity of these methods.
