Muchos de los exvotos ibéricos podrían representar dioses y no devotos. [EN] We believe that the frequent hypertrophy of body parts found in Iberian votive figures represent the sacred mimic used to show that they are divinities epekooi (i.e., who listen), panóptai - panderkeîs, (all seeing) and doteîrai (allgiving). Many of the so called Iberian ‘votive’ figures could in fact represent divinities rather than worshippers. Peer reviewed
