Indicadores de manejo del riego en el polígono de riego "La Violada" (1995-2008)

Abstract

El estudio de series históricas de índices de calidad del riego junto con la información sobre el manejo del riego, el patrón de cultivos y los datos climáticos puede ser una herramienta útil para mejorar la sostenibilidad de la agricultura de regadío. Este trabajo se centra en la evaluación del riego en la zona regable de La Violada (4000 ha) mediante índices de calidad del riego estimados a partir de los términos del balance de agua para las estaciones de riego del periodo 1995-2008. Los resultados de los índices se han analizado estadísticamente para ser relacionados con los cambios del sistema de riego (distribución de cultivos, construcción de la nueva Acequia de La Violada, reutilización del agua de drenaje, restricciones de riego, transformación del regadío). Así, la eficiencia de riego (EfR) presentó diferencias significativas (P<0.001) entre medias de los periodos 1995-2004 (EfR = 47%) y 2005- 2007 (EfR = 60%) (2008 se excluye de los análisis por no ser representativo). Por otro lado, la fracción de drenaje (FD) presentó diferencias significativas para las medias del periodo 1995-2002 (FD = 63%; viejo canal con filtraciones) y 2003-2007 (FD = 49%; nuevo canal elevado sin filtraciones).
