Abstract

[EN] In spite of be one of the sections lest known o£ the single Spanish party during the first one years of the franquism, the Delegación Nacional del Servicio Exterior de FET played an outstanding role in the formulation and execution of a more dogmatic and aggressive international policy, centered in the ambition o£ the cultural imperialism towards Latin America, the control of the Spanish colonies in the New World, the close vigilante of the adjacent politics movements from one and other side o£ the Atlantic. Al1 this, in order to reinforce the position of the New State in the Continent. Otherwise, this clearly revisionist diplomacy suddenly failed by interna1 dissensions in the franquist ration, the absence of means, the small receptivity of the overseas speakers, and the presence of a very unfavourable international situation. It stimulates an &general attitude, against fascism, and forced to th Falange Exterior to shelter in cultural activities for minorities before iis virtual disappearance at the end of the Second World War.
