Abstract

[EN] A basic program is presented (STRBA) to plot the graphics of the Ramsay's method for estimating the strain elipse from a «section» of rock with deformed ellipsoidal objects.Has been applicated to 100 discoidal spots (of metamorphic origin) included in pelitic-samitic beds between a marble formation, neighborhood of Hontanares. The result established for this disk-shaped an plane strain in the vertical dirección. The near relation between the folded stratification and the structural characters of the spots, suggest a synchronism in the folding, metamorphism and granitic intrusion, in this point.
