Efecto de la cubierta de suelo sobre la densidad de población de Conyza spp en olivar

Abstract

En los últimos años, para eliminar la competencia de las malas hierbas en el olivar se ha sustituido el laboreo de suelo por la utilización de herbicidas totales. Para reducir el impacto ambiental de este manejo se implantó una cubierta vegetal y así reducir la superficie a tratar con herbicida. La combinación de la cubierta vegetal viva durante el invierno/primavera y el mulching de restos de la cubierta durante el verano fueron suficientes para evitar la instalación de Conyza spp en la calle del olivar.

Este estudio ha sido financiado gracias al programa de investigación e innovación de la Unión Europea Horizonte 2020 a través del Proyecto IWMPRAISE Nº 727321, y ha contado con la ayuda y colaboración del personal y agricultores de la Cooperativa Olivarera “Virgen del Campo” (Cañete de las Torres, Córdoba) y técnicos y agricultores asociados al INTIA (Navarra) para la realización de distintas actividades del proyecto y los ensayos de campo.

Trabajo presentado en el Simposium Científico Técnico Expoliva, celebrado online del 22 al 25 de septiembre de 2021.
