Abstract

[EN] The 7-ketocholesterol has been found in scallops, clams, cockles and mussels collected in the Ria de Arosa (Spain) This sterol was isolated by column chromatography and the structure determined by comparative physical methods: nuclear magnetic resonance, mass and ultraviolet absorption spectrometry.
