Abstract

[ES] Recientemente, se ha iniciado el desarrollo de técnicas de mantenimiento y reproducción en cautividad de la especie amenazada de caballito de mar H. guttulatus, como apoyo a su conservación. En paralelo, se ha realizado el análisis genético poblacional y familiar de los reproductores salvajes disponibles en cultivo mediante marcadores microsatélites, esencial para evitar apareamientos consanguíneos y pérdidas de diversidad genética. El análisis de maternidad realizado para las progenies obtenidas aporta información sobre el sistema de apareamiento genético en cautividad para esta especie de caballito de mar. Todos los análisis moleculares se han basado en muestreos no invasivos de material biológico, esencial en especies amenazadas

[EN] Recently, it has been developed a captivity breeding program for the endangered seahorse Hippocampus guttulatus, to support the conservation of this species. Similarly, population and family genetic analyses of the wild broodstock have been carried out by means of microsatellite markers, to avoid inbreeding and losses of genetic diversity in culture. The assignment of maternity was tested for the progenies obtained, yielding information about the matting system in captivity for this seahorse species. The molecular analyses have been based on non-invasive sampling, essential for threatened species
