Balanç de les activitats historiogràfiques referents a l'Edat Mitjana a la postguerra franquista
Se analiza la afectación de estos estudios por la derrota de la República en 1939 y las consecuencias de la pérdida de la autonomía y la represión contra la cultura catalana en época franquista. Se analizan las actividades del medievalismo a través de las instituciones: la Universidad de Barcelona, la Universidad Autónoma, el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, el Institut d'Estudis Catalans, los archivos y otras instituciones, así como la contribución extranjera. Se plantean también algunas lineas de invstigación que deberían seguirse.
