El texto de Ugarit en lengua acadia RS 19.23 presenta un problema de lectura e interpretación en el comienzo de la línea 11. Diversos autores proponen identificar la palabra ugarítica qṭn en el pasaje discutido. En este artículo, tras la discusión de qṭn 'quincalla' o bien 'vasija, recipiente', se argumenta en favor de la lectura katinnu, palabra acadia que en los textos de Emar designa un tipo de arma y que en RS 19.23 daría nombre a una herramienta de trabajo. Los términos katinnu y qṭn, al contrario de los propuesto por algunos especialistas, no pueden ser considerados variantes gráficas de una misma palabra.
