[EN] The roman mosaic from Vilches (Jaén) shows the decomposition of the artistic forms occurred on the peripheral areas of the roman Empire in the Late Antiquity. This mosaic is dated by the Authors in the late 5th century attending to the composition, the treatment of the decorative motives and its stylistic parallels. They also emphasize on the «provincia» of Jaén has provided the two latest hispanic mosaics.
