Abstract

• Se han preparado catalizadores de rodio soportado en filosilicatos, a partir de una especie organometálica de rodio (i), a fin de obtener partículas metálicas lo más homogéneas posible y con el mayor porcentaje de átomos metálicos expuesto. Estos preparados se realizan con palygorskita purificada y deshidratada en vacio a distintas temperaturas, 150 y 400 C (td), asi como con montmorillonita. Preparaciones paralelas se realizan con sílice a modo de referencia. Los catalizadores preparados son activos en la hidrogenación de i-hexeno en fase liquida, mientras que con soporte de palygorskita y montmorillonita los catalizadores mantienen una actividad constante con el reúso, con soporte de sílice, su actividad disminuye. La caracterización por espectroscopia de fotoelectrones presenta una relación de intensidades irh/isi prácticamente constante para precursores y catalizadores, reducidos tanto en fase liquida como en vacío, presentando índice de oxidación o los catalizadores. La adsorción de CO en precursores y catalizadores varia en cuanto a intensidad y estabilidad de bandas (ir) correspondientes a la especie dicarbonilica, al hacerlo la td en la preparación de los catalizadores. Se discute la adsorción de piridina. Es probable la formación de iones piridinio implicados en un fuerte enlace de hidrogeno. Se constata acidez Lewis entre temperatura ambiente y 500 C.
