Producción de gonadotropinas recombinantes de lubina (Dicentrarchus labrax) mediante un sistema de expresión baculovirus

Abstract

Las gonadotrofinas, hormona estimulante del folículo (FSH) y hormona luteinizante (LH), son las responsables del control del ciclo reproductor en vertebrados. Son glicoproteínas hipofisarias compuestas por una subunidad ¿ común y una subunidad ß específica de cada hormona (1). Para desarrollar métodos de cuantificación, como inmunoensayos tipo ELISA y poder realizar estudios de estructura y función, es necesario disponer de las hormonas puras. Debido a la dificultad que supone la purificación de las hormonas nativas, a partir de muestras hipofisiarias, se ha recurrido a técnicas de DNA recombinante para la obtención de FSH y LH. El objetivo del presente trabajo es producir, mediante un sistema de expresión tipo baculovirus (BEVS), subunidades recombinantes ¿, FSHß y LHß de lubina, a partir de las secuencias génicas de las tres subunidades, previamente clonadas en el IATS (2).
