Recuperación de Cromo (VI) mediante extracción con membranas líquidas soportadas

Abstract

Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio experimental para estudiar la extracción de cromo (VI) a través de una membrana líquida soportada conteniendo distintos agentes de extracción: Aliquat 336 (sal de amonio cuaternario), Hostarex A327 (amina ter-ciaria), Amberlite LA2 (amina secundaria) y Primene 81R (amina primaria). Se han investigado algunas variables que pueden afectar a la extracción del Cr(VI), como: pH y concentración de Cr(VI) en la fase de alimentación, concentración del agente de extracción y diluyente en la fase de membrana. Las condiciones experimentales óptimas para la extracción de este elemento tóxico (> 95% de extracción), se han obtenido, después de 180 minutos empleando una membrana conteniendo Amberlite LA2 al 10% v/v disuelta en cumeno, un pH en la fase de alimentación inferior a 3.0 y un contenido de cromo (VI) en esta misma fase inferior a 0.07 g/L.
