[ES] Con este artículo deseamos contribuir a los últimos estudios aparecidos en relación con el pintor sevillano Francisco Preciado de la Vega, y completar así la hasta ahora parcial visión que poseíamos de este interesante personaje. Su correspondencia con el político aragonés Manuel de Roda nos muestra diversos aspectos de su personalidad y su obra de gran relevancia, además de aportarnos noticias de particular riqueza sobre el ambiente artístico romano de la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII.
[EN] With this article we intend to contribute to the last studies appeared in connection with the Sevillean painter Francisco Preciado de la Vega, in order to complete the partial vision we possess of him. His correspondence with the politician Manuel de Roda shows aspects of his personality and his work of great relevance, besides contributing with news of particular interest on the Roman artistic atmosphere of the second half of the 18th century.
