[EN] After a brief retrospective on the philosophical treatment of evil in modern times, marked by the failure of any teodicy and its secular substitutes, the next focused on the figure of exteme evil in the twentieth century, Auschwitz, and on two thinkers who representatively embody the philosophical effort to articulate a response to the challenge that this extreme evil represents. He concludes with a postmodern approach to the vision of evil.
